A differential would be useful for multiple projects. It will allow power to be entered from one point and then split between either 2 or 3 outputs, so 1 input, 2-3 outputs. The point of a differential would be to allow the wheel that moves the easiest, to turn, then we could have an option to lock the differentials which means that all outputs are 'locked' to all be going the same speed.
