Perhaps a rotary saw too as an above water only equivalent that has a longer lasting fuel source/"charge".

Don't know about others, bu I don't really see the use right now. Maybe later if block seperation becomes a thing.

A group of us were playing multiplayer and really could have used some kind of underwater cutter or even a small demolition charge (don't think weapons DLC).

One of us got stuck on a sinking ship. There was no power, so all the doors were locked. By the time we got to the ship to rescue them, it was deep at the bottom with no power and no power connectors. The submarine on the ship we used was able to get to the wreck, but we couldn't get into the ship.

Kind of ruins multiplayer role-playing to just have to de-spawn stuff rather than try and adapt to the situation that happens.

This just wouldn't work

My suggestion is that such items like an angle grinder and a plasma cutter would allow you to break doors so that you can get in. The block wouldn't disappear, but it would force the door open.

Sadly, block breaking (completley destroying it) is something that can't happen, but perhaps something to grief around a bit and break things, or cut through doors would be nice!

While a pistol can currently be used to bypass a door lock, I'd really like a more realistic way that can also be used underwater. Handguns cannot be fired underwater in this game.
