Currently, in stormworks, Custom suspension is very cool and has advantages, but the size of the RPS transferring components makes it difficult to make it compact for smaller vehicles.

To solve this problem, only two relatively basic components would need to be implemented. A basic component with a form factor like the compact robotic/velocity pivot, but it would be completely unpowered (like the small hinge) and would have an RPS connection on either end. There could also be a part with the same form factor as the small hinge, that would also be unpowered, and could transfer RPS. These two parts would allow players to build much more advanced, and realistic suspension then the game currently permits. These parts would also be great for general needs where RPS needs to be transferred between sub grids, such as articulated vehicles and trailers.
