single player mode. originally i tried towing a boat that was a boat on fire mission to test how well my ship would tow. it glitched out and put me on a map with no islands, only water and other weird problems. today i tried a towing mission, and the same thing happened weird issues then not responding game, had to use windows task manager to kill it. i briefly tested out the idea of speed. i noticed under 30 MPH it seemed fine, the second i went over that, the game freaked out. i used the proper conversion for speed in MPH. over 30 it cant handle it it seems.

Thanks for your report. It is not possible to know how to reproduce or verify this issue from your description. This could also be the normal / expected behaviour based on the design of your creation. It is very difficult for us to investigate speculative issues but are happy to look at any issue with a clear and simple example.

thanks. i figured out it must be the huge winches that either cant tow boats via a rope anchor or i have them set up wrong? i completed the boat transport mission just using ropes to rope anchors on my ship, instead of the winches.

I don't really understand what is described so it is difficult to help. For a general rule with towing, this works best just using a first person rope to link rope anchors on the main bodies of both vehicles. Problems may occur when linking with smaller physics objects in a chain, so its best to avoid this.
