Hello devs and players,
Before starting, Please look at this cool example of Anti-Roll-Gyro example gif.
It is so grateful that there actually exist a angular momentum in stormworks.
And in real world, there is a Anti-Roll-Gyro system which uses angular momentum effect to stabilize the ships.
However, the flywheel added with modular engine lack of physical phenomenon,
so the way to implement it is to rotate the mass with velocity pivots.
Until now the way people implement it in stormworks is using big sliding weight or using pivot bug.
These methods has risk of physical collision out of context and requires big space. (And noise)
I believe that allowing people to implement what exist in real world will encourage people to make more realistic vehicles.
So I suggest you to add angular momentum induced by RPS to flywheel.
This way, people will be able to make much simple ARG and it will be used to a lot of creation such as spaceship(?), robots, drones, underwater vehicles, ships, etc... And also simple stabilizing along the engine axis will be able. This is well implemented in the game 'War thunder', where prop planes become stabilized by their engine axis.
This was my long hope from last year and I belive new issue tracker system will not miss this great suggestion.
Always thank you for your hard/cool works devs and admins,
and players who agree with me.
Regards, Saky.
