For some of the weapons, soft drawable ammo belts (drawable like the current rope mechanics are) would be helpful for some of the more complex designs as it would allow for easier creation of turrets, etc.

I support. Movable turrets are already too massive and unwieldy. A flexible cartridge strip would add more options and improve appearance without sacrificing functionality.
