The old mission editor has been gone since the 1.0 update, and missions haven't been the same. Since the removal of them, creating missions has been more complicated then ever, and the simplicity and multi-mission features of the old mission editor need to be brought back. Being able to use objectives, triggers, and all of the new features in one would improve the game immensely.
This is exactly what the community and creators would want, all the dev's need to do is re-add this to the game with the new UI textures and environment addons.

There are many uses for this, having a centralized mission menu like before made it easier to know what missions are available, what they entail, the objective menu would return to the game to add
story to the rescue missions and else descriptions.

The trigger feature should also be re-added, which is when you can set for something in a mission to occur at a specific time or place, and many new features like the recent natural disasters major update should be incorporated into this as well. If you can merge these features with the addon editor, the missions system would be improved immensely, and people will have the power create some really awesome and entertaining missions.
In conclusion, dev's, I think it would be well appreciated if you could spend some time re-adding these features to the game, It would make creating story missions/sequential missions way easier and a lot more interactive and entertaining for players. Please consider this, for the development of the game, and the community it has.
