Jet engines shouldn't be able to produce any light without an afterburner. It is unrealistic can and harm creations, as the light passes through everything, lights up cockpits and makes them generally less appealing. They should still be able to produce some light with the afterburner on, but less.

The smoke/exhaust has to be removed too, it should works only at some altitude by air condensation.
