Currently, no matter how much steam you try to get into the large steam wheels, they barely move compared to the other types of steam wheels, improving the amount of power the large steam wheels would remove the need to use hidden steam pistons inside the train to get some amount of power.

Although the Large steam wheels are the main target of this feature request, the power on the other steam wheels seems a bit low, a recommended tweak would be to increase the power for all wheels (power should still be proportional to wheel size) , but limit the maximum speed the wheels can get to (above that speed, power output decreases substantially), this maximum speed should be relative to the size of the wheels, with large steam wheels getting about 60 m/s, keeping medium at about 20m/s, and small at about 15m/s (based partially around real numbers) for more realistic and reasonable steam operation.
