At one point today, one of my units tipped over once it attempted to land.

When I moved the carrier forward though, the Razorbill went to the deck for the aircrafts.

I think it just happened today, but I don't know if I've had any issue like that in the past gameplays.

Happened to us too. Razorbill just nose into the deck, it was still "flying" using fuel, then just blew up, we weren't moving, no waves, no enemies. no reason to explode
