The carrier is curiously vulnerable to enemy ground vehicles which get into weapon range, and has no good way to respond to them. A salvo of 5 cannon shells or a cruise missile is a very expensive way to get rid of a single Seal with a 30mm cannon. Launching your own ground vehicles is a poor solution, given the problems they experience with waves and firing at enemies with cover from a cliff.

It would be good if a crew member could take direct control of a CIWS mount for dealing with these sorts of problems, perhaps as an option from the viewing scope.
